WAYNE F. PERG, PH.D.

Wayne Perg joined MBSA in 2008 and is responsible for the design of our stable value and stress testing modeling for BOLI products, including CCAR and DFA stress testing. Under his leadership, MBSA has developed an industry-leading SVP projection capability.

Wayne is also a member of the team developing new Intellectual Property (IP) with implications for BOLI as well as broader financial industry applications. Since joining MBSA, Wayne has been a co-inventor on 14 issued patents and several pending applications. Prior to joining MBSA, Wayne was the primary inventor on 13 issued patents.

Prior to joining MBSA, Wayne’s background includes being a finance professor at Bowling Green State University (where he focused on financial institutions and markets), work as a research economist for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (where his responsibilities included the wage-price sector of the Board’s quarterly econometric model and the development of a dynamic macroeconomic model that integrated the capital market with the money market), and co-founding a firm that developed IP in the area of financial services.
